Ok… so… pretty ordinary day. Spoke to my manager today about what I should do about my situation here.
He has a suspicion that they will close the SA office soon. He kept bringing up the point that management have made no attempt to offer him or any of us any kind of contract in order to keep him in the company, which I think confirms that they intend to close the SA branch. He is the most experienced in the software that we are developing. We can’t even get through a single day without asking him questions. I have no idea how they expect to continue developing this product with only 2 junior developers. They are in for a very rude awakening. I’m not sure that I want to be here for that.
The people here all seem to be uninterested in the development of this product. Nobody seems to care unless theres a deadline to be met.
On a lighter note, we are going to the mountain tomorrow. Hope it turns out to be a fun day. Gotta have at least one day of fun while I’m here.

Well I don’t know what to do, stay or go.
Just ordinary day today. Nothing special happened. Actually it was rather calm and boring.
We got the itinerary for Fridays outing.
Here it is:
12.30h Meet at e-globe office. Bring good shoes, warm, waterproof jacket and pants, cap and gloves with you.
12.45h Departure of the Shuttle to Beatenbucht
13.40h Arrival at Beatenbucht
13.44h Ascent with the funicular and cable car to “Niederhorn”
14.15h Arrival on the “Niederhorn”. Until 16.45h we can go sledding.
17.00h aperifit in “Bergrestaurant Niederhorn”
18.15h Fondue in “Bergrestaurant Niederhorn”
21.45h Night-Run to Restaurant „Vorsass”. Mulled Wine at Restaurant “Vorsass”
22.20h Descent with the cable car and furnicular to Beatenbucht
23.00h Return to Berne with the Shuttle Bus
24.00h Back at Zentweg 13

Today started out as normal. We were actually running a little late this morning.
We had another meeting today at around 2 o’clock. It was just about some news of where the company is after we gave the client the new software.
Apparently the client sent us 2 official letters. One stated that they were unsatisfied with the development of the software and were going to cancel the project all together. The other letter said something about threatening to take legal action of some sort.
My boss had this really sick look on his face like he was gonna throw up right then and there. So I’m pretty sure that its serious.
I have no idea whats gonna happen next though. My boss said that he’d have to find out some things this week.
On a lighter note we are going sledding on Friday. And I think it’s actually toboganning. Also apparently the course is 1 km long but then theres another part of the course thats 13 km long.

Today was just another day at work. We delivered the software today to the client. We were all very happy. The boss here in Switzerland went around thanking everybody for their hard work. Everybody, of course, except us.
Just another reason why I am perfectly happy to leave the company right now.
I hate this place.

Well just another day in Bern. Everything was closed today so didn’t do anything except hang around the apartment.
Ivan went for a walk.
I just stayed in the apartment surfing the net.
